Reborn in the August summer midst of a Midwest sun, Tony Mai finds himself in this life a Wichita-based folk singer-songwriter.

While traveling the miles of mild southern summers, Tony bared himself naked in an acapellic battleground of Austin - “The Music Capital of the World” - Texas. While debuting on the stages of a weird and wild heart Austin, Tony had the privilege of connecting with fans at Convergent Arts Arts Showcase, Texas State University Vietnamese Student Association’s Vietchella Music and Arts Festival, Community In the Park at Republic Square, Willie Mae Kirk Branch at Austin Public Library, among more.

Since returning to the prairie of Kansas, Tony now lives in song - his life mourning naive visions of youth, worshiping the ultimate goodness and grace of God, and in sadness, frustration, and drunken stupors of all other messy human emotion.

Tony Mai is wanderer recommiting himself, crescendoing towards the aching discovery of a ferverous tune.
